	Brief Description
	Kevin Gardiner celebrated thirty years of practice with the turn of the Millennium. He is a Certified Intermediate Junior III Iyengar yoga Instructor and has made extended trips to India to study with the Iyengars in Pune. He is a core faculty member and co-founder of the B.K.S. Iyengar Institute of Greater New York. He also teaches classes in his own studio on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Kevin is precise and detailed in his instruction, graceful in demonstration and has a light-hearted and off-beat sense of humor. A dynamic and inspiring teacher, Kevin communicates his great love and understanding of yoga to his students. His ability to teach an entire session while concentrating on only one or two principles allows students to have a deeper experience of each asana. His contagious enthusiasm encourages students to challenge the unknown in asana with greater sensitivity and awareness. Learning yoga with Kevin is a grand opportunity to immerse yourself and deepen your practice.
